This position will provide support for a broad array of communications activities and functions at Align. The Communications/IR function reports directly to the CFO/Finance department and also works directly with the executive team including the CEO. We provide the full range of Align’s Global communication needs, including but not limited to writing, editing and publishing communications and developing materials intended for both internal and external audiences.

Our global corporate communications team includes investor relations, public relations, and internal communications to tell Align’s story to all key constituents: our investors, analysts, partners, employees, customers, and press/media. Our objective is to engage and influence key stakeholders on the company's enormous growth opportunity and outstanding track record and reputation, deliver impactful outcomes for the business, and tell great stories that resonate in the hearts and minds of our many audiences and results in value creation for the company.

We are seeking a strong communicator, with excellent communication skills and solid understanding of the financial markets and previous experience interacting with institutional investors and sell-side analysts. Must be well organized and skilled in project management and have successfully navigated corporate, investor, and executive level communications. In addition, webe able to manage programs and deliverables in an exciting and fast paced environment that often includes changing priorities, last minute requests, and nominal direction. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in corporate communications and investor relations, or similar roles to join our team as the Corporate Communications Manager.

Our ideal team member is strong in three areas: Creativity; understanding of the shifting communications landscape, including trends, tools, communication channels, and influencers; a self-starter with a track record of finding opportunities to share stories, collaborate with others, and improve processes and programs to help make us a better team and deliver better work. This position will work most closely with our employee communications, social media and public relations leads to help manage our projects, operations, processes and resources.

Responsibilities Include:

Create, develop and execute communications and investor relations programs that get results·Write compelling communications for many audiences, including executives·Experience developing and executing integrated communications programs involving multiple channels·Proven project management abilities·Compelling writing skills and knowledge of AP style·Provide editing and copywriting support for team·Collaborate with team members, regions, business and marketing functions and others to deliver programs at a regional and global scale·Uncover and tell stories that help provide context and clarity to complex topics, add relevance to our news and perspectives, and inspire our employees.·Identify communications trends and current events for trend jacking opportunities·Be an internal advocate help drive social media adoption with employees·Support creation and distribution of press releases and media pitches·Manage the global corporate communications calendar


  • B.A. or B.S. degree in marketing communications, journalism, PR, finance/a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, employee communications, business communications, public relations, advertising or a related field
  • Familiarity with using major social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) for measurable business outcomes
  • Track record as a self-starter with initiative and ability to execute·Understanding of global business communications and cultures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal customers across the globe
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven, multiple time-zone environment with multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
